This tunnel, approximately 420 meters long, is the final one for this section, and the Kanpur Metro train will enter the underground section through this tunnel after Moti Jheel. The 'Nana' TBM began its journey in December 2023, installing a total of 300 rings during its course. The achievement was celebrated with the presence of senior officials from the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (UPMRC) and other contracting agencies. The Managing Director of UPMRC, Sushil Kumar, congratulated the team and highlighted the importance of this milestone. The construction of the Kanpur Metro project is progressing efficiently, with various departments coordinating to ensure timely completion. This includes the Central Transport Nagar underground section and the Baradevi-Naubasta elevated section.
