Southern Railway’s eleventh-hour announcement on cancellations and diversions irks commuters

The railway administration should consider avoiding accepting bookings for trains that are likely to be cancelled on the dates when engineering works are scheduled, instead of relying on SMS notifications for cancellations.

Eleventh-hour announcement ne Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore Vande Bharat cancel hone ke wajah se passengers ko bhi apna journey reschedule karna padha. Railway administration ko consider karna chahiye ki vo engineering works wale dinon mein cancel hone wale trains ke liye bookings accept karna avoid kare, SMS notification ke instead.
