Iske liye Badampahar, Jurulia, Nayagarh, Banspani, aur dusre branch lines pe goods train ki speed badhai ja rahi hai. Iske alawa, Bṛjrājpura aur Gamharia mein yards ko expand karke freight capacity badhai ja rahi hai, aur Chaibasa ke paas Pandrasali mein ek new godown banne se Haldipokhur yard ka bojh kam hoga. Kandra mein bhi ek goods shed banne ki plan hai, aur Tatanagar mein yard expansion ke liye survey chal rahe hain. Tatanagar, Adityapur, aur Salgajhudi ke beech third line se goods train operation ko aur better banaane mein madad milegi.

The last day of nomination witnessed a rush of railway employees filing their nominations, leading to a bustling atmosphere. A total of 81 delegates are to be elected across the division. Shashi Ranjan Mishra, the division coordinator of the South Eastern Railway Men's Union, raised concerns about the hasty and disorganized nature of the election process, noting that the nomination list was released on the same day as the deadline. He also highlighted that the union had fielded 64 candidates, including three women. He criticized the lack of special arrangements for engineering supervisors and tower beacon personnel, and expressed concern about the impracticality of holding voting in Chakradharpur for employees from remote areas like Dogwapashi, Juruili, Banspani, Barajamda, Adityapur, and Banspani, as it would be difficult for them to travel. DPS lobby mein ghanto baithak ki aur running staff ke problems suni. Running staff ne bataya ki DPS section mein kaam karne wala sahayak loco chalak, loco chalak aur train manager ko is kshetra mein koi quarter nahin diya gaya hai aur nahin unhe varsho se aavas bhatta hi bhugaatan kiya ja raha hai. DPS mein lagbhag 100 se zyada loco pilot ko sthanaantarit kiya gaya hai, lekin unke rehne ke liye rail prashasan dwara koi vyavastha nahin ki gai. Naye sahayak loco chalako ne bataya ki ek varsha se zyada unki rail mein sewa hone ke bawajood bhi unka New Pension Scheme ke tahat jo anshdan unke vetan se katna tha, woh abhi tak chaloo nahin ho paya. Branch line mein kaam karne wala running staff ka jo sthanaantarit niti mandal mein banai gayi thi, uske tahat branch line se 4 saal ke andar unhe mail line mein tabadla karne ki vyavastha thi, jo abhi tak shuru nahin ho paya aur yahaan 10-12 saal se loco pilot apne manpasand station ki maang karne ke bawajood bhi pade hue hain. Saath hi 18 mahine se unka TA aur OT bakaya hai. Running staff ka minimum granted 120 kilometer ka bhugaatan nahin ho raha hai. Juruli running room mein bed ke abhav mein ghanto train manageron ko intezaar karna padta hai. Saath hi Barajamda mein crew rest room ki sthapna karne ki maang ki. Iske alawa DPS aur Juruli lobby mein kharab pade AC ki marammati karane sahit kai muddon par charcha ki. Pani supply naam ki ek formality hai, tanker se sirf 1-2 balti pani din bhar ke liye diya ja raha hai. Isse ghar ke kaam bhi affect ho rahe hain.
