from a new control room at the divisional railway manager's office. The project is currently in its final phase with only 37 km of track remaining to be laid. A recent speed trial was conducted on the newly constructed 31 km Datia-Dabra section, and the results have been positive. The line is expected to open soon, pending final approval from the Commissioner of Railway Safety. The new third line will be primarily used for freight trains, but will also be available for passenger trains as needed.
