waterlogging. Despite widespread waterlogging, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) hid complaints from residents and did not release details about the number of complaints received or the water removal process until after 9:30 pm. AMC Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani stated that water removal efforts were underway in all affected areas and that catchpits and manholes were cleaned before the monsoon season. He emphasized that officers have been instructed to prioritize water removal in areas with heavy waterlogging.

Itna zyada pani bharne ke baavajood, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) ne residents ki complaints ko chhupaya aur 9:30 pm ke baad tak received complaints ki sankhya aur pani nikalne ki process ke details release nahi kiye. AMC Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani ne bataya ki sab affected area mein pani nikalne ka kaam chal raha hai aur monsoon season se pehle catchpits aur manholes ki safai ki gayi thi. Unhone zor dete hue kaha ki officers ko zyada pani bharne wale area mein pani nikalne ka kaam priority pe karne ka instruction diya gaya hai.
