Once the installation is complete, train travel between Prayagraj Junction and Rambag Station will be faster and smoother. Following this, the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) team will conduct a speed trial on October 21st, starting from Varanasi, aimed at improving train speeds between the two stations. It's worth noting that the doubling project between Prayagraj Junction and Rambag Station has been underway for several months and is now nearing completion. The new electronic interlocking system will modernize the junction and incorporate advanced technologies. This new system replaces the old route relay interlocking system used previously. The electronic interlocking system streamlines and expedites the process of setting and monitoring train routes. Railway officials can now access track status and route information with a simple mouse click, enhancing train operations. This upgrade is intended to minimize delays in train operations and strengthen railway safety measures.
