Passengers at various stations engaged in heated exchanges with railway staff due to the train delays. Passengers also complained about trains being halted without valid reasons. The goods train was en route to Narayanpur Anant when its engine stalled near Siho station. The loco pilot and train manager notified the operating department, requesting a replacement engine. This led to the temporary halt of all trains on the up line. The replacement engine was brought from Narayanpur Anant and arrived at the site around 8:45 AM.
