In the winter, warm chaat is a special treat. Another popular street food is dal kachori, a crispy fried dough filled with a variety of lentils and vegetables. Ayodhya is famous for its moong dal and urad dal kachori, served with chutney or a side dish, a unique flavor not found elsewhere. Dahi bhalle, made with lentil dumplings, yogurt, and sweet-and-sour chutney, is another must-try dish.
