Yes,, I am aware of every train has a certain political reason for his destination.
But we also aware that extension is today's trend in indian railways.so it's not a big deal & not much surprised if it is extended.
And dumka also plays an important role in jharkhand politics.so, it is impacted on upcoming elections definitely....

It was Lucknow - Chhapra Express. AFAIK In the 2014 budget It was announced as a Daily Express train but after the inauguration, it was a tri-weekly service. Later on due to political influence 15072 LJN - Mau was introduced in its slot 20:25 from LJN. Post Covid it shifted to GTNR and CI. CI helps it as at CPR platform remains available and mainly didn't get blocked due to shunting works. As there is a third line between CI and CPR.

You both are not addressing the elephant in the room! Unless people of Dhanbad stop electing literal nincompoops into power and elect a political representative with stronger merits, the whole issue would never be resolved.

There has been no representation from Coastal Karnataka nor Tamil Nadu regarding introducing a train between MAQ and MAS through SWR.
