Meanwhile, Naresh Lalwani, the General Manager of Central Railway, retired on November 30, 2023, after 38 years of service. During his tenure, Central Railway saw significant achievements, including increased passenger and freight earnings, a record-breaking cargo loading, and the completion of 147.77 km of new lines and doubling projects. Central Railway also demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by achieving 100% electrification of all broad-gauge routes and increasing its use of solar energy. Additionally, customer-centric initiatives were implemented, such as the introduction of new Vande Bharat Express services and Vistadome coaches.

Unke tenure mein, Central Railway ne kaafi achivement kiya, jismein passenger aur freight earning mein badhaava, record-breaking cargo loading, aur 147.77 km new lines aur doubling projects ka poora hona bhi shamil hai. Central Railway ne sustainability ke prati apni commitment bhi dikhai hai, jismein sabhi broad-gauge routes ka 100% electrification aur solar energy ka istemaal badhana bhi shamil hai.
