The PM will inaugurate ROBs built by DFCCIL in Kurtha, Baraila, and Kumhaon in Shivsagar block. He will also lay the foundation stone for projects under the Amrit Bharat Yojana at Dehri, Bikramganj, and Piro railway stations, worth crores. This includes underpass roads, bridges, and other projects on the Sasaram-Ara railway line. Under the Amrit Bharat Yojana, the railway has decided to improve passenger amenities at 15 stations in the DDU Rail Division, including Sasaram, Dehri-on-Sone, Bikramganj, Bhabua Road, Kudra, and Anugrah Narayan Road. The foundation stone for this scheme was laid in August 2023 across seven stations, including Sasaram, via video conferencing. The project aims to upgrade passenger facilities in Sasaram at a cost of 21.32 crore rupees, including improved lighting, better and more comfortable furniture for waiting rooms, multi-line display boards, LED TV displays, digital announcement systems, signage, and station upgrades.
